• Kindergarten Readiness Program
  (ages 4-6 years)    

  Let's get ready!

  This program is designed to develop reading readiness and skills in the areas of drawing, coloring, identifying letters and numbers, counting, cutting, and pasting. Activities help develop listening skills, following directions, and social play skills. The group is lead by a licensed occupational therapist and speech pathologist.

• The Friendship Club    

  Let's be friends!

  The Friendship Club is a program designed to help children who want to learn how to make friends and play cooperatively. Children will learn about greeting, sharing, turn taking, participating in conversation, and resolving conflicts. Children are grouped according to age. The group is designed and lead by a licensed speech pathologist and occupational therapist.

• "Get It Write" Handwriting Program    

  Handwriting Without Tears!

  An occupational therapist will lead these sessions focusing on manuscript or cursive handwriting, as needed. The sessions will emphasis hand strength, pencil grip, letter formation, appropriate sizing, spacing, line orientation, and writing speed. Two children are seen together, matched according to needs.

• Happy Meals    

  Helping Your Infant and Toddler Eat Well!

  Parents of young children often encounter frustrations as their children transition through different phases of eating. These classes will help parents understand typical feeding development from birth through preschool age. It will answer parent’s questions about when to introduce foods and liquids and the social-emotional and behavioral issues related to feeding. The emphasis will be on how to incorporate practical information into every day family routines. The classes are lead by an occupational therapist and/or speech therapist.
